Hayleigh had school Tuesday, and me being the perfect mom, waited until Tuesday Morning to help her with her homework.. Gordon Came up to me and asked where his home work was, so I hurry and made him a quick ABC book that he could color. Then he ask for his back pack for school. I just thought he was playing around, but then I figured out real quick he thought he was going. As I was putting on his shoes to take Hay. He run and says I need my home work. I was feeling really bad as we were getting closer to school. He kept crying I want to go. I told him to say Bye to Hayleigh and he just looked out the Window, with one of the looks and said NO. He was so sad...But I can't believe he will be going to Preschool this fall. Where did time go.

Gordon wants to go to school
Gordon's upset faces and My cute girl
Gordon is the funniest kids, but when he gets upset he gives me the most stubborn attitude. It really cracks me up. I don' t even remember what he was upset about, but I brought them home stuff from Hawaii and he was mad about something.
Finally I got a smile, I had to throw in these pictures of my cute girl
Happy Birthday Hayleigh
Some of you might have seen Sam Erickson comment about Hayleigh's Birthday in an earlier post. I thought I would share the story. My mom and Dad watch my kids while I was in Hawaii. With the help from (Jen, Sam, and my aunt Pam). Sunday morning before Church my mom and Hayleigh were making a cake, and Hay wanted it to be a birthday cake. My mom said sure.
Now the rest of the Story I may not have right, so Sam let me know if it isn't. After church my mom got Hayleigh and she had a happy birthday sticker and a little prize. During Primary they were singing to all the kids that had Birthday's. Hayleigh said it was her Birthday. (by the way this isn't her ward, she went with my parents). Sam said are you sure it is your birthday and Hay said yes. Apparently Sam asked her a couple of times and Hayleigh said it was her birthday. So they sang to her and celebrate it. OH that girl cracks me up!!! She has had so many family members/friends that have had birthdays apparently she couldn't wait. Man I love her.
My Trip to Hawaii
My Trip to Honolulu so relaxing and alot of fun, I am so glad I decided to go With Jordan. Here are a few pictures. We found Jordan an apartment and a very fun roommate. I love going to Hawaii and I really enjoyed the time I had to myself. I also did a session at the temple and that was really neat. I love the beaches on that side of the island. I am not a big Waikiki Fan. I did have allergic reaction to the sun and I believe the new shaving cream. So I was pretty miserable the last couple of days, I had a beautiful rash to match my red swim suit. I am so excited for Jordan, and now I have an excuse to go back more often.
I have been Tagged
Ok, as most of you know I don't reply to these tag things, I just ignore them. I have been Tagged by my dear friend Jen. And I just ignored it. I love Jen's Lay out on her blog and I really want a new lay out for my blog and she won't tell me how until I answer her tag. And that is after she told me my blog has been boring lately. Thanks! Love you too! Jen your a great friend, but I think this is called Black mail. Ok so here we go.
Here are the Rules, Answer each question w/your top five, then forward this on to 5 friends. Ok I will not be forwarding this on to anyone. Ok I really have a bad attitude about this.
Question 1 What are 5 of your favorite books other than the Book of Mormon.
Most of you know that I am such a big Reader! Not. I started to get back into reading when Gordon got sick. My Aunt Pam thought it would be a good thing, which it was until I was in the middle of the series and the one of the main character's husband died. Lets just say that was the end of that But I am in the middle or starting these new book that I love so far.
1. The Peace givers by James L Ferrell-It is a book on the atonement, it really changes your life (more than harry potter, Pam). It gives you a whole different perspective. To be honest I am only half way through it but really have enjoyed reading it. It is about a husband and wife that are having a hard time, at first I wasn't sure how this was applying to me, but It is perfect. A MUST READ
2. The Potentially Sane Mother's Guide to Raising Young childern by Tamara A. Fackrell. -This one I started back in Aug and love it, I am not sure why I haven't found time to read it more, but it really gives you some great ideas.
3.Head Start with the Book of Mormon by Vicki Lynn Rasmussen-Haven't started it yet, but It teaches you how to us scriptures to Teach Children Reading and Writing Skills. Hayleigh and Gordon loves their scriptures. SO I am really excited to start this one.
4.Project Organization by Marie Ricks-Haven't start this yet either, but The name it self gets me excited
and 5. 15 Secrets to a Happy Home. I just picked this one up. The last 3 I was going to read in Hawaii, but I am trying to finish the Book of Mormon again by May. So that didn't happen.
Question 2 What are your 5 favorite movies
As my family knows I am not a huge movie person, I love TV!! And for some reason I can't stay awake during them, But I will sit through a couple, and I guess lately I have been wanting to watch movies. But I am not one to know all of the lines if that makes sense.
1. One of my and Gordon's all time favorites is HITCH, I think it is so funny.
2. Like Jen I love the Sound of Music, I can watch that over and over.
3. Beauty and the Beast-Disney got a love it
4. 13 going on 30
5. The notebook
Question 3 Top 5 songs on your Ipod or MP3 Player.
I don't have either, but some of my favorite songs are
1."When you say nothing at all.." By Alison Kraus-That is mine and Gordon's song as well as "you are my sunshine"
2. "The Dance" by Garth Brooks-Sad moment in my life, but something I will never forget.
3. " You raise me up" By Josh Groban-Gotta love him
4. "Valentine" By Martina McBride
5. "He Gets that From Me" Reba-I love Reba..This song came out when Gordon first got sick. Or at least I think it did, It was the first time I notice it. But it reminds me of my kids and their dad. I was pregnant at the time with Gordon and it really just made me think. And now look at this boy I have, and how similar he is to his dad.
Question 4 List 5 things you hope to accomplish before you die
1. I want to make sure I accomplish all I was sent here to do. If that makes sense
2. I want to make sure I teach my childern correctly and make sure they have a firm testimony of their Savior and his love for them. They can do or handle anything if they know that.
3. I want to serve a mission.
4. I want to be able to be smart with my finances now so I can retire and not have to worry
5. I want to finish school.
Ok well this was fun...So Jen I am waiting for my email on how to change my blog so it is more entertaining for you. I do have some post I need to put up on here so hopefully I can do that soon.

Goodbye Uncle Jordan
On Saturday Jordan is moving to Honolulu! Most of you know how close we are. I am so excited for him but also very sad, because I am not sure what I am going to do with out him, but the good news is I am going with him on Sat for a week. My kids know I am going, but I haven't told them Uncle Jordan isnt coming back. I am not sure how to explain it to them or how Hayleigh is going to take it.. They love Uncle Jordan.
Also good news about Jordan's heart! I am sure you don't mind me posting your private information Jordan, but I am so excited. He went in to get a check up and his heart is now working at 47 %. It was only working at 14 % when he started having heart trouble almost 2 years ago. And even better his heart has gone back to the size of a normal heart. 2 years ago it was doubled the size.
WE love you Uncle Jordan!!!!!

Good Bye Dori
I know I haven't updated anything for awhile.. and thanks to everyone for reminding me that I need too. I don' t have too much to update for the month of Jan..Except for our fish died. Here is how it happened.
After Josh and Vanessa's wedding over 2 years ago, Gordon took one of the fishes from their center pieces. He thought Hayleigh and Gordon would love to have a fish. I really didn't care at the time because I couldn't see it living more than a week. Well that fish never died. I honestly was feeding it once a week and still nothing. Well a little more than a year ago. I cleaned out the bowl and I forgot to feed the fish and it died. Hayleigh was having a hard time about the lost of Gordon at the time and I couldn't bring myself to tell her Dori died too. So I replaced it with out her knowing it.
This last week I was cleaning out the bowl over the sink and as I was pouring the fish back into the bowl it jump out into the sink. I tried to scoop it out and I missed and it fell into the garbage disposal. I didn't know what to do, so I called the woman that knows everything..My mom. She wanted me to put my hand in their and get it out. Well I couldn't do that. There was only one thing I could do. So I turned on the water...and turned on the disposal and walked far away. So to gross all of you out. The kids haven't noticed, since I have put the bowl on top of the fridge. So It may be the last of all of our dori.
