Pictures and Swimming

Today we took engagement pictures as a family...Lets just say that was interesting with 4 kids. Thank you Jen so much for taking them for us.
Here are the three adorable boys we are adding to our family...Aren't they cute!
My 4 cute kids!!! They are all alot of fun and keep Sam and I on our toes! All 4 have been so excited about us becoming a family!
So after a long morning of pictures, we promised them we would go swimming if they were good. I couldn't have ask them to be better. So we spent the rest of the day at the pool. The Easter Bunny brought them goggles. The kids would not take them off.
Cade was like a fish, Everytime I turned around his head was underneath the water. I should get him something to look for while he is using his goggles.
This was a great pool! Thanks Jen for tellimg me about it. They had a small lazy river, but it was so fun. It was Hayleigh's favorite part
Gordon still wouldn't take off his goggles, even when it was time to go.

Funny things the kids say.....

The kids have been saying funny things to each other since they have been spending so much time together. Here our a few that Sam and I could remember. Our Favorite one is from Cade.

Cade-"Hayleigh, your always going to ruin my life forever" That is while they were playing outside and fighting. We have been laughing at this one for days.

Gordon-"Mommy, Cade is looking at me".

This was my favorite this morning from Hayleigh "Mommy, I am so excited for our new family, I have two daddys, a mom, three brothers. I think we need to get a horse and a dog" Yea good luck with that Hayleigh.

Are kids have got along great, but like any other siblings, they have little tiffs, but for the most part they get along great!

Aunt Cec

Aunt Cec came into town last Monday for Work....She is Gordon's brother's wife. It was so fun to see her and the kids had a blast! We both forgot our cameras, so these are some pictures from my camera phone. I am not sure how to make them bigger.

Wedding Date

May 16th is the date Sam and I are going to get married. We were going to have it the 17th, but Sam's Mom Pat and my Dad have some election thing. Not sure what that is all about, but it was more important than us getting married. JK, the real reason why it is the 16th is because Blake has Prom on the 17th, and that really out weighs us getting married. This shows you Blake how much we love you!!!!!

Happy Easter!!!

Happy Easter! We had a really fun weekend! Saturday, we decided to take the challenge and let all 4 kids color eggs. I hate a mess and it makes me nervous, but luckly Sam feels the same way, so he really had everything under control. As you can see by Caleb's face it was a real intense 30 mins.

Easter Morning, we woke up to Snow, so the kids and I went to the Cemetery and Gave our Dad an Easter Lily, then we were off to church.

Hayleigh and Gordon silly faces, I promised they could do silly faces if they could do a couple of cute ones first.

After Church we went over to Sam's parents house and had lunch and had a Easter egg hunt on the farm. It was alot of fun!









We went home and found what the Easter Bunny left, and then we were off to Grandma Dears and Papa's for dinner. We had so much food. The only picture I got there was Gordon trying to sneak Ham. Boy he likes to eat.

My Hike

This last weekend Sam and I decided to go on a hike. We both are tired of Winter and are excited to start doing some out door things. OF course the mountains are covered in Snow so we just went to Red Rock, which is just out side of town.. My parents had my kids and his Dad had his so it was nice to just hang out by our selfs. Here is a picture of Sam...once we reach the top of the ridge. Yes we aren't that very high up. But it was a pretty fun hike with the snow and if there wasn't snow there was MUDD> We all know how I feel about getting dirty.

While we were hiking. Sam asked me to marry him. He tried once and me being the freak that I am asked him to stop. I needed to process this and I started a panic attack coming on. We have talked about this for awhile, but I didn't even think he was planning on it any time soon. Anyways we hiked some more and then he grab my hand and turned me around really fast and asked before I could get in a word. It was a smart idea on his part. There was no time for me to freak out. Good Job Sam!

We told our kids last night and they are all excited. Gordon was so excited and I don't even think he realizes what he is excited about, but he loves Sam. Hayleigh is excited, but I think it will be harder on her because of Change. She loves Sam and the boys. but she even had a problem when I got a new vaccumn and a new garbage can. I can't blame her.



Sam has two boys Caleb who just turned 8 and was Baptize last week and Caden who will be 5 this summer, He is a few weeks younger than Hayleigh. These are some pictures we took a while ago at my parents house.


Even though I have had some panic attacks, I am very excited about this. This has been exciting but hard at the same time. I am also excited to combine our families. I am sure it is going to be hard at times, but such a blessing
